ITU, as the global organ for telecommunications with 700 field and associated members in 193 countries, organises ITU Telecom World conference in every year, where telecommunication experts take part, giving lectures, taking part in discussions, and as exhibitors, or visitors. Telekom, as the leading Hungarian telecommunication provider, is one of the sponsors of the event, supporting the opening ceremony. We’ll also be present as an exhibitor, presenting our satellite traffic management and travellers’ information system, Energy management system to control energy consumption, smart street lighting, our traffic monitoring system that is also able to recognise number plates, MediQue patient management system, MobilTárca, smart bus stop that is able to support itself with energy, and N-Ticketing traffic solution, based on NFC technology.

During the four days of the event visitors can hear about several topics, like big data, safe information sharing, IoT, cloud based solutions, start-ups in telecommunications, relations between state and technology, consumers’ trust, digital nations, m2m communication and smart home solutions.
