TELEKOM HELLO BIZNISZ IS RENEWED: TUNING UP FOR BUSINESSES, TUNING UP FOR THE COUNTRY
Budapest, November 7, 2024 11:00
Businesses play an important role in the economy and in our daily lives, and their impact is bigger than we think: they take the country forward, tuning it up. This is why Telekom's renewed platform is helping businesses.
Telekom Hello Biznisz, Telekom's online platform for professional consultancy and knowledge transfer for SMEs, is moving to a new location and adds new features. With this Telekom wishes to tune the operation and development of businesses so they can make their ideas successful.
In Hungary, there are around one million operating businesses, of which 970 thousand are small and medium-sized enterprises, employing 2.2 million people and generating 43% of the added value* produced by Hungarian enterprises.
Telekom's research** shows that we see businesses as natural supporters in our everyday lives that influence our decisions. Nearly 86% of people regularly buy products from them and more than two thirds use the services of Hungarian businesses. 83% say that local entrepreneurs make their lives much easier. Nine out of ten people agree that small businesses play an important role in local communities: they provide jobs for people and play a vital role in the operation of community services in their localities.
Telekom is now tuning up SMEs to the next level: Hello Biznisz helps businesses with new and renewed features. On the hellobiznisz.telekom.hu platform, the so called D - digitalisation – plans were given a new image, and from now on entrepreneurs can access Telekom's digital development plans, broken down into easily applicable steps in a more transparent and simple interface. Businesses may find content that is relevant to them, focusing on areas of development, whether they are a new startup or a long-established company. With the new networking feature they can get recommendations on what and how they can help others and how others can help them: with the information they provide in their profile entrepreneurs can instantly connect with those they need and those they can help. Businesses that register for Telekom Hello Biznisz between mid-November and mid-December will also have the opportunity to join the Telekom Magenta Moments partner discount program and receive extra publicity on the program's interface. The discount program partners can be visible to even one million Telekom customers with their products and services.
" Our mission is to help SMEs to maximise the benefits of digitalisation, both in their day-to-day operation and in their business, thereby strengthening their competitiveness. We support them in tuning up and developing their businesses to take the country forward, to have a positive and sustainable impact on our environment and our economy ." said Zoltán Pereszlényi, Magyar Telekom's Chief Commercial Officer.
"The idea of tuning up is about progress and development in small steps, and the role of businesses is invaluable for the country's progress . Their impact is much greater than we would think. Telekom Hello Biznisz is now a revolutionary new business ecosystem that since its launch in 2017 strives to provide entrepreneurs with social recognition, visibility and space, along with professional guidance and inspiration. In our campaign, which is being launched parallel with the renewed Telekom Hello Biznisz, we point out that in almost every aspect of our lives businesses are present , doing things for us, moving us forward: tuning up us and the country alike." - said Béla Szabó, Magyar Telekom's Brand Communication Director.
Since its existence Telekom Hello Biznisz has published more than 1,500 pieces of content, had half a million visitors per year while the Hello Biznisz Facebook community has around 9,000 active members. The D plan, which is a step-by-step tool to support the digital development process, has been downloaded more than 30,000 times.
