TELEKOM EGÉSZSÉG (HEALTH): TELEKOM TUNES UP THE HEALTH OF MAGENTA 1 CUSTOMERS WITH FREE MEDICAL ADVICE

Magyar Telekom enters the market with a new service: the goal of the introduction of Telekom Health is that the company, as a digital service provider in various areas of life, stands by its customers in almost every situation, enabling them to use new services that go beyond traditional telecommunications solutions. Telekom’s provider partner – primarily giving medical advice and also providing the service - is Teladoc Hungary Kft., who have international experience and background, and whose qualified doctors and experts help Magenta 1 customers with monthly plans with advice, online health assessments, and appointment bookings. The Telekom Health service is available from today for monthly plan customers with Magenta1 discount packages created after 2018.

In order to serve the needs of its customers as fully as possible, the company decided to make the service available to certain customers in cooperation with Teladoc Hungary Kft. The new service is available free of charge for Magenta 1 customers with a monthly plan based mobile service from July 26, after logging on at telekom.hu and upon registration.

Health tuning, but how?

I have been bitten by a tick, which doctor should I contact? How should I interpret my lab results? In which order should I go for examinations? Questions to which we do not always know the answer, it is often difficult for us to find our way around, but with a quick online or telephone consultation, we can  get help for our problems through Telekom Health. The experts of Teladoc Hungary Kft. expect inquiries from, among others, Telekom customers who would like help with medical findings, need advice, or are unsure of what their doctor said and whether they properly understood the diagnosis and the details of going forward.

Telekom Health includes four main elements: it consists of telephone and online medical advice, an online doctor search and appointment booking platform, as well as an online health assessment questionnaire and personalized lifestyle advice based on it.

It is important to emphasize that the service can be used in the above-mentioned cases; in an emergency, in situations requiring emergency care, the emergency assistance number 112 must still be dialed.

Telekom's partner in health tuning is Teladoc Hungary Kft., which is represented in many countries around the world and whose qualified doctors are available to answer customer questions and connect patients and doctors using digital devices. Magenta 1 customers with a monthly plan can consult doctors by phone or online between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays. Teladoc, which deals with virtual medicine, has been operating successfully in Hungary for many years, and - as an international service provider based in the United States, listed on the New York Stock Exchange - it has considerable experience in this field.
