Magyar Telekom announces that Scope Ratings GmbH as a result of the annual credit rating review has affirmed the issuer credit rating of BBB+ with stable outlook to the Company, along with the BBB+ senior unsecured debt rating.

The affirmation reflects Scope Ratings GmbH’s view of the Magyar Telekom incumbent’s strong and stable positions in the domestic mobile and broadband markets. With this review the Company complies with the requirements of the Bond Funding for the Growth Scheme of the Central Bank of Hungary.

Daria Dodonova, Chief Financial Officer of Magyar Telekom commented: „I am delighted that we have managed to maintain the BBB+ rating with stable outlook. This is testament to our market-leading positions in the domestic mobile and broadband markets, our continued strong performance, and the resilience of Magyar Telekom’s business model.
