Days of unlimited mobile net at Telekom beginning from 16 February, Telekom grants unlimited domestic data to its postpaid mobile Internet customers

- Between 16 and 19 February, Telekom grants the freedom of the Internet as a gift to its every postpaid mobile Internet customer.
- The background of this special discount is that on this weekend Telekom will expand and upgrade its customer care systems.
- From 16 February, 10 p.m. probably until 19 February, the end of the day, the telephone, on-line self-service interfaces and the Telekom mobile application will not be available, and the stores will also be able to provide only limited services to the customers.
- If the data volume contained in the tariff plan happens to get used up, Telekom will provide free and unlimited mobile net to its customers for this period.
On 16 February Telekom will push the doors to unlimited Internet wide open: both residential and business postpaid customers of the company with mobile Internet will be allowed to the use any volume of data within Hungary between 00 hours on 16 February (Friday) until 24 hours on 19 February (Monday). This opportunity will be automatically granted to the customers without any separate request, during that time the use of mobile Internet will not reduce the volume of data bundled in their tariff plans.
The background of the special discount is that on that weekend Telekom will expand and upgrade its customer care systems, therefore from 16 February, 10 p.m. probably until 19 February, the end of the day, the telephone, on-line self-service interfaces and the Telekom mobile application will not be available, and the stores will also be able to provide only limited services to the customers. Temporarily it will not be possible, for example, to purchase services, handsets, accessories; to conclude contracts, to request changes in services or concerning the current account, to process matters related to invoices and SIM cards - with the exception of cancellation, which will be available.Those customers who happen to run out of the data volume contained in their tariff plans or traffic expansion option during these days would not be able to continue using the mobile Internet, so Telekom preferred the option of getting free and unlimited mobile Internet within Hungary to its customers for that period.
At the same time, certain customer care services will continue to operate in the regular way, such as Domino top-up on personal channels, full reporting and mobile purchase services.
Owing to the works on the customer care systems, Telekom requests and proposes that if their customers are in a position to do so, they should schedule their customer care affairs outside these days. If they want to pay an invoice, they can do so by bank transfer or by using a check in post offices (during opening hours).
By the constant and targeted development, acceleration of its network, Telekom has been working for several years on the provision of lightning fast Internet to its customers, giving them the now experience on its maximum speed 4G and fixed line networks.
