Donation line in July and August: for the rehabilitation of visually impaired

Those calling the hello holnap! donation line of Telekom in July and August, 2013 support the White Stick Foundation which promotes the complex rehabilitation of visually impaired.
According to the survey of the White Stick Foundation each year four
thousand people become visually impaired for different reasons, and for
hundreds of them it is explicitly well reasoned and necessary to participate in
the rehabilitation process.
The duration of the rehabilitation process varies by individuals, depending
on the abilities, skills, age and physical status of the visually impaired
person. Considering all aspects, in 1 year about 100 visually impaired
individuals can be treated. As part of the protocol process a functional visual
check up is carried out, followed by visual training, orientation training and
teaching how to participate in public transportation, assisting to develop a
new way of carrying on, including training about using communication and IT
tools, learning the Braille writing and reading as well as psychological
consultancy. Upon completing the process, clients will be capable of carrying
on with life by themselves, their self assessment is improved and in many cases
is reconstituted, their social relations improve and therefore they can also
integrate into the labour market.Callers

two months assists this work: the total value of tools inevitable for the work
of the Foundation amounts to HUF 3 million.
The hello holnap! donation line can be called at number 13688. This number can be called from both the fixed line and mobile network of Magyar Telekom. A call and sending an SMS equally costs HUF 100, which is exempted from VAT and is fully transferred to the beneficiary organisation (except calls initiated with Domino prepaid cards, where 27% VAT is deducted).Charges for calls initiated on the donation line and in the donation booth between July 1 and August 31, 2013 are fully transferred to the White Stick Foundation, to assist their work as the donation of callers.
