Budapest, May 4, 2012 12:00
Thanks to recent developments and agreements with television channels, customers of all interactive TV services provided by T-Home – with the exception of subscribers of the Public Service Package, customers of the IPTV services provided for ADSL subscribers of partner providers, and business customers – can also choose from the offer of the Archive TV.
Now, those who have missed their favourite TV program or have forgotten to record it through the electronic program guide (EPG) of IPTV or the Interactive Sat TV, can view specific contents of the six channels available in the Archive TV services – RTL Klub, m1, ATV, Hír TV as well as Life Network and Ozone Network – subsequently, as individual programs or in a pre-paid arrangement, provided these channels are available in the subscriber’s tariff package.
Using T-Home’s interactive TV services the following archived television contents of RTL Klub’s own programs can be viewed again: Autómánia, Fokusz, Fokusz plusz, Hatoslottó, Házon kívül, Heti Hetes, Híradó, Infománia, Portré, Reflektor, Reggeli Csak Csajok, Showder Klub, A Széf, Törzsutas, Trendmánia.
The monthly subscription fee of the Archive TV is HUF 490, for which an unlimited amount of archive content can be viewed for a month from a continuously expanding offer. And if someone wants to see only one program from the content of Archive TV, the ad-hoc rental fee is HUF 50. For this sum the selected program can be viewed an unlimited number of times for six hours following the time of the rental within 72 hours from the time of the program in the program guide.
The IPTV service, which is radically changing traditional television broadcasting and viewing, was launched in Hungary for the first time in November 2006 by T-Home (and its predecessor brand T-Online Hungary) spearheading innovation. It is still the only brand that offers IPTV service for commercial use. T-Home was also the first to launch in December 2011 a new, satellite TV service in the Hungarian market called Interactive SAT TV, supplemented by new interactive services, which ensures interactive contents on satellite TV through internet connection in the form of a special hybrid technological solution.
Following a dynamic growth in the recent period, the number of subscribers of T-Home’s Interactive TV service now exceeds 250,000. Since its implementation, Archive TV can be reached through the Interactive SAT TV service.
