Budapest, October 18, 2011 10:30

Internet users can already enjoy versatile music of their taste, without having to spend hours, recording and compiling their own albums before. From October 18, either on their PC screens or the display of mobile phones they can access Telekom's new, streaming based music service enabling them to follow their mood and pick from a continuously updated assortment of almost one million tunes. The new internet based music service fits to Telekom's line of offers for young people and strengthens further the relationship between the brand and the music.

From October 18, 2011 Telekom offers a new, interactive radio service to Internet users, under the MusicCenter name. Subscribers can stream - that is, play without downloading - their favourite music, at any time. Using the service, listening to music either on computer or mobile telephones requires Internet access. In line with their music taste and actual mood, subscribers can compile different packages, or "moods" on interactive Internet screens, which they can also save. Moods can be created based on style, performers and rhythm - however pre-edited moods can also be chosen. Music can be stopped, tunes can be rewound or one can go back to the previous song. Individual tunes can be assessed, or favourites can be tagged.
The rich assortment includes tunes of the most popular Hungarian and foreign performers, totaling about one million tunes and this is continuously increased by adding the most recent songs on the top lists. The MusicCenter service is now available on Web and Android smartphones, soon also on iPhones.
Using the service requires registration. Telekom offers a 30 days trial free of period fee for all Hungarian Internet users, a period fee is only payable after that. The period fee of the service is HUF 300, the subscription is automatically renewed upon the expiry of the period (30 days). The monthly fee can be paid with bank card, T-Mobile subscribers can also pay in SMS. Postpaid T-Mobile customers can pay from their mobile shopping or universal credit balance, or using their Connection points. In such cases payment is made afterwards, in the monthly bill. Prepaid Domino customers or subscribers with Mix tariff package can also use the service with their universal credit balance, following the preliminary top-up of their balance.
Downloading the mobile application requires a tariff package offering data traffic for streaming or Wi-Fi connection. Using the service generates increased data traffic, a tariff plan ensuring a data traffic of at least 500 MB is recommended for those who subscribe for it. Generated data traffic is billed according to the tariff package of the subscriber, and in line with the effective T-Mobile Tariff Table.
Terms and conditions of using the service are available at www.zenecenter.hu.
