Budapest, October 4, 2011 10:45
T-Home has been the first TV provider in Hungary to make this popular community media outlet available: from now on comments or "likes" may be given and messages may be posted through IPTV as well.
Thanks to the development, major functions of the community site have
been made available: including the most recent events, the message wall,
description of friends, photos, messages. Using the Facebook IPTV
application TV viewers have the option of commenting on other people's
posts or give "likes".
Subscribers to IPTV only need to register
before the first login on the site of
www.iptvregisztracio.hu,
where the application gets assigned to their Facebook user accounts.
Naturally, the application can also be set up to remember a former
login: in this case all the user has to do is enter his or her user name
to launch the IPTV application of the community site.
As is known,
IPTV, a service that has fundamentally transformed traditional
television usage, had been first launched in Hungary in November 2006 by
T-Home (more precisely, its predecessor, T-Online Hungary), the leading
operator in innovation. Recently T-Home has made available several
interactive TV applications for subscribers of IPTV service: including
the IPTV solution used for lectures of the University of All Knowledge,
the automatically updated Stock Exchange Quotes displayable on TV
screen, Horoscope, an application showing daily, weekly and monthly
predictions, as well as Netpincér application, which enables meal orders
to be placed on the television screen. Apart from these, the
television has also renewed several of its interactive services, such as
the popular web radio and [origo] applications.
