Budapest, May 3, 2011 10:30

Those calling or sending SMS to the hello tomorrow! line at 1788 are going to support the Hungarian Association of Thai Masseuses in the months of May and June 2011. Magyar Telekom having successfully operated the donation line for the 9th year now holds it important to promote with its support the development of Hungarian health, the enhancement of health services and, even more particularly, the healing of children.

The Hungarian Association of Thai Masseuses was set up in 2007 and it turned into a public benefit organisation in 2010. Its aim is to popularize Thai massage and other types of traditional, smoothing and relaxing message of a healing effect and to prevent and heal mental and physical disorders through their effective use. Unique results have been achieved through the sessions with children who struggle with some physical or mental problem. The stand-alone baby and child's message the Association has developed for improving children's movement may be an effective tool towards preserving the health of the smallest ones and, in addition, it may function as a natural supplement to any medical treatment. The method has been an activity registered by the Hungarian Patent Office since 2008.

The Association intends to use the support received through the donation line towards granting free of charge attendance for several families at a disadvantage in the five-day intensive baby and child's massage course. Parent and child attend the course together. Thus, in the spirit of equal opportunities, a possibility to develop can be offered to children of large or single parent families or unemployed parent families who live in difficult financial conditions.  In addition to the training course the association offers to families continuous consulting, assessment of the health status as well as pedagogic and psychological consulting. The total therapeutic process, which lasts for almost one year, is conducted in sessions repeating in every 2nd or 4th week -depending on the age of the child. The association would like to grant this process free of charge to families in need.

The Donation Line, also known from the slogan "1788 - the people's number" is equally accessible from Magyar Telekom's wire line and mobile phone network. The fee both for the call and the SMS is HUF 100, which is free of VAT (with the exception of calls initiated from Domino top-up cards). The total amount of the calls received in the months of May and June, 2011 will be granted as the callers' donation to the Hungarian Association of Thai Masseuses, where the amount will be used towards the retention and expansion of their services and treatments.
