The Mobile TV service of T-Mobile will also be available on iPhone

T-Mobile subscribers can already use the television service on iPhone. Postpaid customers of the operator can access the Mobile TV service (channels included in the Basic, Public TV and Daily packages) through the web’n’walk mobile portal (by entering the www.webnwalk.hu in the browser. Subscribers of the Basic package (including 40 hours of television usage per month, for a monthly fee of HUF 1,990) can enjoy 14 television channels, including RTL Klub, M1, TV6, Duna Tv, Ozone Network or Eurosport. Newcomers to the service, wishing first to get a feel for the mobile television service are offered the Daily package, available for three months starting from September 1, 2010 for a promotional daily fee. By subscribing for the Daily package for a promotional daily fee of HUF 190, customers can watch 13 channels for 5 hours within the 24 hours of availability. T-Mobile customers subscribing for the MediaMania packages can also access television channels included in the Basic package for the interval included in the monthly fee (if the service is inactive, it needs to be re-activated). As an additional promotion discount, in case of using mobile TV services with iPhone, T-Mobile does not charge an extra fee if traffic goes over quota.

Using the Mobile TV service the channels broadcast in 16:9 format can be also viewed full screen. For the appropriate quality TV service broadband coverage, that is 3G/HSDPA data transmission is recommended. The Mobile TV service can be accessed even more comfortably with the application downloadable on iPhones, which is currently under development and will be soon available from the App Store.

Accessing Mobile TV on the web’n’walk portal generates data traffic, the charge for which is payable according to the data package of the customer.
