Magyar Telekom invites ARC+ competition for children
Budapest, May 4, 2009 11:00
This is the second time that ARC is holding a competition for children and this year Magyar Telekom joins it with the ARC+ competition for children. Magyar Telekom's ARC+ competition joins the theme of the ARC competition for children and invites teams of 3 to 5 children to submit entries on "What would you do for your environment?".
A special feature of the competition is that the best and most creative six entries selected by the jury will be implemented
by Magyar Telekom on giant fire walls in cities (Pécs, Budapest, Szeged, Sopron, Miskolc). The pictures on fire walls will
bring the ideas and messages of the children to masses over a long period.
According to the competition rules entries must be submitted to Magyar Telekom's ARC+ competition for children in A3 format
by May 11, 2009. Each winning group will receive a voucher worth HUF 80,000.
This year the theme of ARC competition for children focuses on a future world in which current school pupils (aged 6 to 14) would like to live and which they can implement as adults by 2039. The competition rules are connected with a letter with special content sent by Biox who lives on the planet Xenor. Our unknown friend is on his way to us and hopes that in 30 years planet Earth will welcome him with attractive nature, a pleasant climate, rich fauna and flora and friendly earthlings.
The pictures submitted to the competition will be exhibited in the space in front of the Palace of Arts from 13 to 30 June. Awards will be presented on June 13, 2009 at the opening ceremony of the ARC competition for children exhibition in the foyer of the building.
