Christopher Mattheisen Chairman-CEO of Magyar Telekom today received the certificates of the new integrated management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001) which were issued by SGS, the world's largest independent quality management and certification body.

Magyar Telekom has developed and launched its integrated quality and environmental management and information security system by upgrading its quality management system which has been operating successfully since 2002 at both company and group levels. Certification of the integrated system was completed in November 2008.
Christopher Mattheisen Chairman-CEO commented on the successful certification: "In the course of the audit we had to demonstrate what we do to maintain our successful operation, how we ensure proper operation of the processes to fulfill customers demands under the conditions of changes. We have extended our operating systems also to the areas of environmental protection and information security."
The management systems operated within Magyar Telekom Group are in full compliance with the customer expectations and devote special attention to sustainable development, in particular to environmental protection and information security.
