Budapest, January 12, 2009 15:15
Dr. Éva Menyhárt Vasvári, Director of the Regulatory and Wholesale Directorate of Magyar Telekom Plc., who has been running the regulatory operations of Hungary's biggest telecommunications company since 2000, will leave the company on January 15.
Dr. Éva Menyhárt Vasvári started her career at Magyar Posta, the legal predecessor of the company. Later on she was involved
in the development of the regulations that underpinned the opening of the telecommunications market, and also in the creation
of the structures that ensure the development of the fast-growing telecommunications industry in Hungary and the EU. Dr. Éva
Menyhárt Vasvári has done a great deal for the development of a modern regulatory environment. I wish her much success in
her future career too, said Christopher Mattheisen, Chairman-CEO of Magyar Telekom.
Some of the duties of Dr. Éva Menyhárt Vasvári will be taken over by her deputy Zoltán Császár.
