Initiated by Dr. Tamás Pásztory, by mutual agreement of Magyar Telekom Plc. and the Chief Human Resources and Legal Officer, Dr. Tamás Pásztory will leave the Company with effect from March 30, 2007.

Magyar Telekom Plc. expresses its acknowledgments and thanks Dr. Pásztory for his outstanding contributions to the development, success and improved operating efficiency of Magyar Telekom Group from the foundation of the Company in 1990 to the present day.

Commenting on the discontinuance of his employment Dr. Tamás Pásztory said that „his views and strategic conceptions about the management and future operations of the Group, different from those of the CEO” have led to his leaving the Company.

At the same time he expressed his recognition and thanks to all employees of the Group for the successes and results achieved jointly over a long period. As Dr. Tamás Pásztory stated, „The employees of the Magyar Telekom Group constitute an outstanding team, they are ready to respond to future challenges too. I wish further business successes to the Magyar Telekom Group.”
