Magyar Telekom wins Integrating Employer award

Magyar Telekom has won the annual Integrating Employer award of the Municipality of Budapest which was presented by József Skultéti, head of social welfare department of the Municipality of Budapest to Mihály Ratatics, deputy HR director of Magyar Telekom in the Magyar Telekom Headquarters today.
Magyar Telekom won this year's Integrating Employer award in the forprofit category, which theMetropolitan Equal Opportunities Methodology Office gives to employers that achieve excellent performance in the field of ensuring equal opportunities at the place of work. When explaining the decision the members of the jury underlined that Magyar Telekom makes special point of promoting diversity and equality of opportunity at the place of work and protecting disadvantaged groups not only in its own organization, but it also encourages other employers to do likewise. The panel highly appreciated the innovative elements with which Magyar Telekom helps reconcile office work and home life, such as the "Family and job" programs, the non-conventional forms of employment adjusted to the different life situations of the employees (e.g. flexible working hours, working from home, part-time work), the integration of people with disabilities, as well as the exemplary cooperation of the employer and the workers' representation organizations.
