Christopher Mattheisen leaves Magyar Telekom

The employment of Christopher Mattheisen, Magyar Telekom's Chief Operating Officer of the Wireline Services Line of Business (T-Com) is terminated as of June 15, 2006 at his request. Magyar Telekom's Board accepted Christopher Mattheisen's request.
During his four years at Magyar Telekom Group Christopher Mattheisen
successfully built up the wireline broadband market, introduced new
innovative solutions on the Hungarian telecommunications market, and
effectively managed the expansion of the business abroad.
He will continue his career in another country.
From June 15 - until a decision on the person to be selected for this
position is made - his responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer of
the Wireline Services Line of Business (T-Com) will temporarily be
performed by György Simó, currently Deputy Chief Officer of the LoB,
CEO of T-Online Hungary Ltd.
