T-Com's Tudakozó Plusz (Directory Assistance Plus) obtained the Best European Service Award in 2005. The Tudakozó Plusz service that is accessible on number 197 achieved this major international recognition due to its high quality, spectacular development and efforts aiming at continuous renewal. The service won this award ahead of Swedish and Spanish telcos’ directory assistance services.

Tudakozó Plusz was elected the Best European Service in a strong international competition, ahead of the directory assistance services of Swedish and Spanish telcos. The service made it to the final, together with a Spanish and New Zealand directory assistance service, in the competition for the World’s Best Service Award. The independent jury decided to give Tudakozó Plusz the Best European Service Award due to its service quality and efforts aiming at continuous renewal. The result was announced in Manchester at an international professional conference.

This award was founded by 118tracker, a market research and consulting company, established to monitor the performance of the British directory assistance service market with 140 players after liberalization in 2003 and to improve quality and enhance customer satisfaction. An international conference is held annually to exchange experiences and present development results. To recognize quality, prizes are awarded to the best in various professional categories. More than forty companies entered this year’s competition.
