T-Mobile Hungary's Chief Executive Officer Sugár András leaves the company

The Board of Directors of T-Mobile Hungary and the Chief Executive Officer of the Company have jointly decided that the CEO's employment will be terminated with mutual consent. András Sugár is leaving the helm of T-Mobile Hungary from September 6, 2005. Acting in matters in the scope of the CEO's power and competence will temporarily be Straub Elek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of T-Mobile Hungary.

On behalf of T-Mobile Hungary's Board of Directors, the Chairman of the Board, Elek Straub and Michael Günther, Vice-Chairman of the Board representing T-Mobile International, expressed his appreciation to Mr Sugár for his work and the business successes achieved in the last more than 10 years.

"András Sugár established and - as an internationally recognized executive - governed at a high level a company which possesses all the qualities to retain its market leadership in the mobile market in the long run. I highly appreciate Mr Sugár's' activity in laying the foundations and developing mobile communications in Hungary, as well as the outstanding role he has been playing in Magyar Telekom Group's successful operation. There is no exaggeration in stating that his name has been linked to a highly dynamic phase of development of Hungary's mobile communications", said Elek Straub.

András Sugár about the past period:
"With uniquely efficient teamwork our company succeeded in growing up and turning into a company with the largest clientele in Hungary, committed to the surpassing European rates through its competition culture, efficiency, innovation and customer orientation. I thank our more than 4 million customers for the loyalty, without of which our goals could not be realized. I could not agree with the vision of the owners, so I demise the managing to my colleagues and to by the owner appointed management with all respect."

András Sugár and the company led by him received numerous professional and social recognitions in the past years. Just mentioning the most outstanding ones, András Sugár was granted the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Hungarian Republic, Business Central Europe elected him the best business executive of Hungary, Corvinus University of Budapest elected him its honorary citizen, he won the Baross Gábor Prize of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Water Management, the Business Excellence Prize of Deutsche Telekom and the Dale Carnegie Manager Quality Prize.

An outstanding company success achieved was the "Best Work Place of the Year" Prize granted in the framework of a survey organised by Hewitt Inside and Figyelő among the best workplaces. The company won the "Most reliable mobile provider" prize twice, "The Infocommunication Business Product of the Year" Prize, "The best Hungarian Company" Prize of Business Central Europe, the Hungarian Innovation Prize, the European Quality Prize and the European Marshall Prize.
