On February 1, 2005 Matáv is introducing a new residential tariff package called Teleperc ('Teleminute') available in the whole territory of Hungary. Out of Matáv's tariff packages this minute-based tariff package offers the best tariffs per minute for local, national long-distance, mobile and international calls.

With the new Teleperc tariff package both Matáv customers and users outside Matáv's service area can call all fixed-line numbers in Hungary with very attractive tariffs per minute. Local calls cost HUF 10 in peak period and HUF 4.90 in off-peak period, national long-distance calls cost HUF 18 in peak period and only HUF 9 in off-peak period (all prices include VAT). (This tariff package involves minute-based billing.) The tariff package offers significant price reductions for international calls to the most popular countries: such as Germany, Austria and Italy for HUF 35 and USA for HUF 45 including VAT.

In Matáv's service area this tariff package includes the Free Day offer. With the Teleperc tariff package, in Matáv’s service area calling line identification presentation, call waiting and call forwarding services are offered free of charge and the XL and XXL supplementary packages can also be ordered. With this tariff package the "Home Billing" calling card service with which customers can make phone calls both from Hungary (in Matáv’s service area) and abroad with the attractive tariffs of the package can be used free of charge.

Customers who want to use this tariff package outside Matáv’s service area (as a result of nationwide introduction customers can use this new tariff package in the whole territory of Hungary) need to dial Matáv's prefix 1515 before the telephone number.
