From December 10, 2004 Matáv is introducing the Bázis Plusz tariff package. Additionally subscribers to the commercial tariff packages can try out the free of charge Free Day offer from December 10. This offer can be used until the end of the year on Fridays - including December 24 and December 31.

New tariff package - Bázis Plusz

From December 10, 2004 Matáv is introducing the Bázis Plusz tariff package. Any subscriber to the Bázis tariff package can try out until January 31, 2005 the new tariff package that includes additional services without extra payment and request. Customers who do not want to use the benefits of the new tariff package (the subscription fees of Bázis and Bázis Plusz tariff packages are identical) can at any time request return to the Bázis tariff package on the freephone customer care service number 1212. As another benefit, customers can use the Bázis Plusz tariff package in January 2005 with the 2004 monthly fee.

Free Day offer can be tried out already this year

On January 1, 2005 Matáv is introducing the “Free Day” offer with which any customer who subscribes to a Matáv commercial residential tariff package (Bázis, Csevegõ, Sokatmondó) can make free calls in off-peak period (from 18.00 to 07.00 of the following day), in local and long-distance zone 1 direction (within the same town or between towns in the same primary area) on a weekday selected by the customer. As a Christmas surprise Matáv is making this offer available already from December 10, 2004 and until the end of the year subscribers to commercial tariff packages can use this offer on Fridays, so they can make free calls among others on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. From January customers can select the weekday - to suit their phoning patterns - when they wish to use the free calling opportunity.

From December 10 the Free Day offer can be used also by the Bázis Plusz tariff package subscribers.
