Matáv's website, www.matav.hu, has changed. As part of the renewal a colorful new rubric, "Csemege sarok" (Titbits Corner) was added to the website.

This modification was driven by two objectives. First, with the new website customers can obtain a complete range of information about Matáv’s latest products and services in the most efficient way and the process of using our services is facilitated by focusing on the on-line buying feature. Second, we invite our visitors to the colorful world of Csemege sarok with a pleasant ambiance for entertainment without any commitment in a way completely differing from the other parts of the website.

With the functional renewal of the website the focus is now on current products and services and the possibility of buying them on-line. On the starting page current offers are placed in a key position to give our customers updated information about our latest services and campaign offers. For easier navigation the groups of various services are better distinguished than earlier. To facilitate the process of on-line buying our Internet supermarket is easily accessible from the starting page and the pages presenting each service offer direct on-line buying.

In the Csemege sarok - which is available only in Hungarian language - visitors are offered even more entertaining contents with interesting news and various experiences.

Csemege sarok offers individually designed games based in original ideas, the best players can compete on the list of Top20 games. The renewed Csemege sarok includes a continuously extended series called “Did you know?” where interesting, sometimes amazing data about telecommunications can be found. Visitors can browse the collection of advertising spots that includes spots on various Matáv services. Visitors can have an insight into various phoning patterns on the page where phoning conventions are presented with illustrations. Downloads include background images to make your computer screen more cheerful. The animation for the telephony series gives a brief overall picture of the milestones in telecommunications. In the chapters of the series designed in a user-friendly form with contemporary illustrations everybody can easily find the periods that interest them. The Matáv Gallery pages have also been renewed with new content, the pictures in the exhibition present various interesting information about the careers of the artists in addition to pictures shown. E-card, Matáv’s free postcard sending service can be used in the Csemege sarok with unchanged conditions.

The renewed matav.hu is the largest and most visited corporate website in Hungary that offers our customers, partners, investors and technical and political decision-makers a full-value communication interface in both Hungarian and English. The website contains more than 6,000 pages, Matáv’s website was the first Hungarian corporate website included in the official webaudit list of Median Opinion Poll and Market Research Institute to certify visiting rates. According to the latest figures the www.matav.hu site is visited on an average working day by almost 17,000 customers who download more than 153,000 pages.
