Matáv's Board of Directors has concluded a contract for another 3-year period with the CEO of Westel

In its meeting of December 19 the Board of Directors of Matáv has extended the contract of Mr. András Sugár the CEO of Westel up to March 31, 2007, expressing high appreciation of his management performance.

Westel is a subsidiary in 100% Matáv ownership; it has over 3.7 million subscribers at the end of December 2003.
