The Lesotho Telecom Company has reported that the telephone numbers of the wireline telephone network of the company will change as of August 1 2002. Starting from this date, after dialing the country code of Lesotho (266) 22 has to be entered before dialing the old, 6-digit telephone number.

The old phone numbers can be used as well until October 31 2002.
