Change of telephone numbers in Singapore
Budapest, February 26, 2002
According to information from the Singaporean telecommunications company, the 7-digit telephone numbers will change to 8-digit from March 1, 2002.
The change will be made by adding 6 before the old subscriber number.
For example:
old number: +65 234 5678
new number: +65 6234 5678
Mobile subscriber numbers already had 8-digits so these will not change.
Area codes change in Lithuania
According to information from the Lithuanian telecommunications
company, the area codes of the following Lithuanian localities will
change from March 1, 2002:
