Matáv launches new 1515 - Matáv Call-by-call service in Vivendi area

With effect February 18, Matáv has launched a new 1515 - Matáv Call-by-call service in the service area of Vivendi. This service is recommended for those users who select Matáv with call-by-call service provider selection for their long distance II, domestic long distance III, international and mobile call directions, and who make monthly telephone calls for at least HUF 1515 gross. The new service is available from all types of lines from the service area of Vivendi.
The use of the new service is not
subject to an agreement made for a definite period of time, nor to an
entrance fee, and users can enjoy better minute rates without having to
pay a monthly fee. The new package makes a distinction between long
distance II and domestic long distance III directions. The offer
contains the most favorable rates for long distance II calls, carrying
the greatest benefit for those customers who live in the Budapest
agglomeration and frequently make calls to Budapest. The size of the
saving can be as large as 37.5% in the peak hours. We grant 10-13%
discount on the official price for domestic long distance calls (e.g.
Szeged-Budapest) (outside peak hours) and 10% discount in zones 1-3 for
international calls. Matáv bills all calls by the second, so customers
only have to pay for as much call time to the second as they actually
speak.
The new service can be ordered personally (in the Matáv Pont shops), in
writing (letter, telefax, e-mail) and on the phone (1212).
