New executive at the head of Matáv's Residential Services LOB

Christopher Mattheisen appointed as of September 1, 2002 as Chief Officer of Matáv's Residential Services LOB.
41-year-old Christopher Mattheisen graduated from Indiana University
(Bloomington) and Columbia University (New York) with degrees in
economics and finance. He came to Hungary in 1990 to found a consulting
company with business analysis and strategic planning operations. From
1993, as US WEST International's Marketing Officer, he was involved in
the launch of Hungarian, Polish and Czech mobile carriers. From 1993 to
1996 he worked as Westel 900 GSM Mobil Távközlési Rt.'s Marketing and
Sales Director. In 1997 he moved to London to direct the commercial and
marketing activities of MediaOne's mobile communications subsidiaries.
Before this appointment Christopher Mattheisen was working in Britain
as BT Cellnet's Business, Trading and Marketing Director. From
September 1, 2002 he is Chief Officer of Matáv's Residential Services
LOB.
