Today, AD"Makedonski telekomunikacii" (MT) signed the Contract with Ministry of Culture of RM for sponsorship for the reconstruction of the one of the most significant monuments of Macedonian history - the Samoil fortress in Ohrid. The Contract was signed by Mrs. Ganka Samoilova Cvetanova, the Minister of Culture of RM and Mrs. Ildiko Magyar, CMO of MT and Mr. Bence Varady -Szabo CFO of MT.

As a company which respects the cultural and historical heritage of RM, MT brought a decision for participation in reconstruction of Samoil fortress which has significant importance for Macedonian people and their history. For this purpose today was signed the Contract with Ministry of Culture of RM for sponsorship of 60.000.000 denars (1.000.000 euros), which will be used for restoration of the one of the most significant monuments in Macedonia.
"We are honored to have a privilege to participate in this significant project which has a huge importance in Macedonian history. Although MT is a telecommunication company which is always in track with the most sophisticated technologies and trends, we also feel a big respect for a cultural heritage and the efforts for its protection.
