Internet Call Center on Matáv's website

A new on-line service has been launched on Matáv's website, www.matav.hu. The Internet Call Center is a communication interface that allows doing business simply and comfortably through the Internet. The free service is available twenty-four hours a day seven days a week for Matáv customers who visit the corporate website.
This on-line extension of Matáv's Call Center can be accessed through
www.matav.hu and it offers Matáv customers several contacting options.
Those who contact the customer service staff by e-mail will receive an
electronic reply to their inquiry or problem within twenty-four hours.
Matáv will store these messages in its database in order to retrieve
later the full history of these matters when it is required.
The Internet Call Center also allows customers to ask for a call back
to a phone number given by them. They can also choose the time of the
call back with the help of dropdown menu options available in the
interactive window.
Customers who require a fast contact may also use the on-line chat
feature. In this case they can start a direct and real time written
message exchange (chatting) with the Internet Call Center staff in the
computer screen window.
The Internet Call Center allows to do any business concerning Matáv's
products and services, such as phone line transfer and take-over or
supplementary service ordering and information requests, available
until now only through the 1212 phone number or personally. The
Internet Call Center is available from 0 to 24 hours, seven days a
week.
The Internet Call Center brings another new interactive feature to
Matáv's website. Recently, the on-line Press Room has been launched,
the e-Pont Internet Store has been opened, the Electronic Billing
Information has become available and the On-line Directory Assistance
has been renewed. User figures audited by Medián show that the average
number of page impressions at www.matav.hu exceeds 80,000 a day.
