As of August 1, 2002, Viktor Galambos was appointed Head of the Media Relations and Webcommunication Department by Dr. Bálint Nagy, Director of Matáv's Group Communication Branch.

After graduating from the Marketing Communications Branch of the Foreign Trade College (Budapest) in 1997, Viktor Galambos (27) joined the Press Department of the Ministry of Interior where he participated in organizing the communications of the 1997 referendum as well as the Parliament and local government elections held in 1998. He joined Matáv's Press and Information Department as a PR Manager in November 1999; at the end of 2001 he became Leader of the Department's Media Relations Team, and acting Head of the Department as of May 1, 2002. From August 1, 2002 he has been appointed head of Matáv's Media Relations and Webcommunications Department. In this position he is responsible for Matáv's press relations, for editing and operating its homepage (www.matav.hu) as well as preparing and publishing the Company's information bulletins (e.g. Annual Report).
