Matáv sells ProMoKom majority holding to Westel Rt.

Budapest, October 11, 2001

Matáv founded ProMoKom Rt. in 1999 with a capital of HUF 20 000 000. On September 21, 2001 Matáv and Westel signed an agreement which gives Westel majority (99.5%) ownership in ProMoKom and the transaction was financially closed today.

ProMoKom Rt., which has been run by CEO Dr. Tibor Székelyhidi from August 1, 2001, will participate in the establishment of the "emergency Tetra" system as sub-contractor of Magyar Posta Tetra Rt.
