500 000 broadband Internet subscribers at T-Online
Budapest, August 19, 2008
The number of T-Online’s broadband Internet subscribers reached 500 000 this week. And over one 100 000 subscribers of the market leader service provider of the Hungarian Internet market selected cablenet.
Since the implementation of DSL and cable network-based Internet
service, T-Online – which is present in 1800 localities of the country
and now has 500 000 customers – has the key assignment of making
broadband Internet accessible to the widest possible scope of
customers.
Dynamic growth of the number of customers, including
residential, SME DSL and cablenet subscribers, is also due to the fact
that T-Online – in addition to its advertised programs aiming to
increase broadband Internet awareness – places significant emphasis on
the development of offers which respond flexibly to the demands of the
market, from which everyone can select the one that suits them best.
As
a result of continuous network development the Internet download
bitrate provided to T-Online subscribers increased continuously during
the past years, while the subscription rates dropped and mailbox
capacities increased in line with the market trends. In addition to the
above, nation-wide coverage of T-Online has also increased in the past
period.
