New CEO at Magyar Telekom Group's Macedonian subsidiary

The Board of Directors of Makedonski Telekomunikacii (MakTel), the Macedonian subsidiary of the Magyar Telekom Group, has appointed Mr. Nikolai Beckers as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Beckers also became an executive member of the Board of Directors, in line with the resolution of MakTel’s General Assembly held on July 31.

Mr. Beckers (43) has graduated in business administration. He joined Deutsche Telekom in 1995 and held various managerial positions in the finance area. He gained rich international working experience managing and supervising the Group’s business activities in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Before his appointment as CEO of MakTel he was President of Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiary in Paris, France.
