Records at T-Com Vivicittá
Budapest, April 23, 2007
After record-breaking participation at the T-Com Vivicittá foot races held at Szeged and Kaposvár during the last weekend of March, large crowds entered the race in Budapest, too. The start was on Margaret Island on April 22, Sunday. 10 600 participants entered races of 12, 6.5 or 3.6 kilometers or a walking of 3 kilometers.
T-Com Vivicittá had 4800 and 4400 participants at Szeged and Kaposvár, respectively. In 2006, more than ten thousand people entered the Budapest race – although at that time it was held (due to the spring floods) not on Margaret Island but at Felvonulási tér. There will be one more race after Budapest: on May 12 in Eger.
