György Simó receives Dale Carnegie & Associates Inc. Leadership Award

György Simó, head of the T-Com LoB and chief executive officer of T-Online Hungary Ltd. has been given the prestigious award of Dale Carnegie and Associates Inc. international management consulting company in recognition of his outstanding organization development efforts. The awards ceremony was held in the Budapest Festetics Palace on November 16.
Dale Carnegie and Associates, Inc., established in the United States in
1912, is a world leader in the implementation and operation of human
policy, organization development and integrated HR systems with
branches in 76 countries. The Leadership Award, founded in 1985, is
given to managers who focus on human resource management, innovation
and the improvement of organizational creativity as key instruments for
the future of the company.
The former recipients include András
Sugár, then CEO of Westel Mobil Telecommunications Ltd., Péter
Kisbenedek, CEO of Erste Bank Hungary, and Miklós Zsoldos, chairman-CEO
of Union Biztosító Rt.
This year Dale Carnegie & Associates,
Inc. gave the prestigious award to György Simó for his outstanding
organization development work at T-Online Hungary Ltd. The prominent
event was held on November 16 in the historic Festetics Palace. The
award was presented to György Simó by Jean-Louis Van Doorne, European
vice-president of Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc.
The fact
that György Simó implemented a carefully designed organization
development scheme in T-Online Hungary Ltd. played an important role in
his receiving the award. The steady growth of the company faced the
manager in charge of organization development with a constant
challenge. As a result of the efforts, a dynamic, constantly renewing
and changing organization has emerged, one that manages the problems
with an open and multi-level approach. Organization and personnel
development have become values for T-Online Hungary which allow the
implementation of the changes in a dynamic manner, resting on
self-criticism. T-Online Hungary Ltd. also has some fine credits in the
fields of human resource evaluation, performance planning and
