The Board of Directors of Magyar Telekom’s Macedonian subsidiary, MakTel approved the start of a rebranding process at its regular meeting on March 1. This process will be conducted as one project with MakTel’s mobile subsidiary, Mobimak and its implementation is anticipated in the first quarter of 2007.

Through this rebranding process MakTel will change its brands and company names and sign a license agreement with the brand owner within the Deutsche Telekom Group.

This rebranding is clear evidence of the strong commitment of the Magyar Telekom and Deutsche Telekom Group to Macedonia. The introduction into Macedonia of the international brands, T-Com and T-Mobile, will further contribute to increasing the value of these Macedonian companies.
