Customers of Pannon GSM, T-Com and T-Mobile donate nearly HUF 10 million to support flood victims in Székelyföld

The customers of Pannon GSM, T-Com and T-Mobile could donate HUF 200 to victims of the natural disaster in Székelyföld (Szeklerland) calling or sending a text message to helpline number 1749. Initiating 47,991 calls and messages, they collected HUF 9,598,200 million in the donation programme closed on 30 September. The money will be sent to flood victims via the Hungarian Interchurch Aid.
Pannon GSM, T-Com and T-Mobile help victims of the natural disaster in
Székelyföld in partnership with the Hungarian Interchurch Aid. The
three leading operators enabled customers to use helpline number 1749
to support victims. Calling or – in the case of mobile operators –
sending an SMS message to helpline 1749 over the past few weeks,
subscribers of the three companies could donate HUF 200 per
call/message to victims. Customers of the three operators donated HUF
9,598,200 million combined. This amount will be fully used to help
flood victims in Székelyföld.
