Matáv increases the ADSL bitrate

As from May 2, 2005 Matáv is increasing the download bitrate of ADSL access lines free of charge countrywide.

The maximum bitrate of the largest business packages can increase by one third, while the bitrate of any other package can be doubled with unchanged prices. ADSL packages with increased bitrate will be implemented in contracts after May 23, 2005. Re-setting has been started by Matáv simultaneously in the Pest, Buda, the Eastern and Western regions.
