Conference on equal opportunities
Budapest, September 22, 2004
On September 22, 2004, Matáv held a full-day conference at its Headquarters. The conference entitled "Diversity in the Hungarian society, economy and science" was supported by the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
After the welcome speech of Elek Straub, lectures were held on topics of equal opportunities and diversity by the following lecturers:
- Dr. Kinga Göncz, Minister of Equal Opportunities;
- Prof. Dr. Csilla Kollonay Lehoczky, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Eötvös Loránd University;
- Beáta Nagy, sociologist, Assistant Professor at the Budapest Corvinus University;
- Ágnes Eördögh, HR Director, Ericsson;
- Mrs Endre Macher, Managing Director, Macher Gépészeti és Elektronikai Kft.;
- Mrs Gyula Szűcs, Managing Director, Carl Zeiss Hungária Optikai Kft.;
- Maud Pagel, Vice President for Equal Opportunities and Diversity, Deutsche Telekom;
- Dr. Tamás Pásztory, Chief Human Resources and Legal Officer, Matáv.
