On September 3, 2004 Matáv signed a Sales Agreement with Group 4 Falck Kft. whereby Matáv sold its 50% ownership share in Group 4 Matávőr Rt. to the other owner, Group 4 Falck Kft. for HUF 300 million.

As a result of the transaction Group 4 Falck Kft. became the sole owner of the company. At the same time Matáv and Group 4 group agreed that after completion of the transaction they would remain key business partners. Registration of the transaction by the Court of Registry - after approval by the Economic Competition Office - is expected in November.
