Hungary: the T-Mobile brand raised overall market awareness in half a year

According to the survey carried out by GFK Hungária, the aided awareness of the T-Mobile brand was close to 100 percent in Hungary in August, and it reached 100 percent by November – in less than 6 months following the rebranding of the market leader Hungarian mobile company. Spontaneous awareness of 85% is also extremely high among people interviewed, while the "For a Better World For You" is clearly associated with the market leader T-Mobile.

Consequent to the co-operation established with one of the world’s leading mobile communication companies, the Hungarian mobile operator has been offering even more valuable services since May to its almost 4 million subscribers, under the name of T-Mobile Hungary Co. Ltd. The brand values of T-Mobile, as well as new services introduced in Hungary were clearly received well – the Westel / T-Mobile rebranding achieved outstanding success also in the international comparison. The operator’s Relax packages - introduced on the T-Mobile Day, offering favourable, flat minute charges for domestic calls – achieved tremendous success among the company’s customers and exerted significant influence on the whole Hungarian mobile market.
Following the market entry of the largest Hungarian mobile operator 10 years ago, the market leader joined T-Mobile, the international mobile operator currently present in two continents, serving 103 million subscribers directly and through the group’s affiliates.
