On the order of the minister of Informatics and Communications, the Ministry will pay 1000 HUF gross monthly towards the bill for universal electronic communication services of needy subscribers, namely people receiving state disability support, raised amount of family allowance, regular welfare aid, old-age support or allowance to cover their nursing.

From among Matáv customers, needy subscribers of the Felező (universal) tariff package are eligible for the support. The relevant applications have to be submitted to the service provider by August 31, 2004. The first support will be deducted from the October bill.
