D-Link contracted by Matáv to supply ADSL modems
Budapest, June 7, 2004
D-Link has been contracted by Matáv for the supply of 100,000 ADSL modems. In the next year, the winner of the tender announced in February will participate as a subcontractor in doubling the number of ADSL termination points in Matáv's service area.
The contract was signed by D-Link's Deputy Chairman in charge of East Europe Klaus-Dieter Hesse, head of their Hungarian representation office András Élő and Matáv's Procurement Director Zoltán Werle. The contract was concluded for one year and the first consignment is expected to arrive in June. The relationship of D-Link and Matáv has been reinforced by D-Link's winning of the tender and the two companies hope that this contract will be followed by further cooperation.
