Matáv makes the following statement about rumors concerning a change of Westel's name: "We are examining the possibility of changing the "Westel" brand name but the work concerning this issue is only in the preparatory phase - reviewing the consequences of a potential name change, so no decision was taken. As soon as any decision or development will follow, we will provide an official announcement."
