From January 2005 T-Mobile customers can send MMS to T-Mobile network with lower tariffs, in some cases for up to 60% less, irrespective of its content. As a special offer, in January and February 2005 each multimedia message sent within the T-Mobile network will cost HUF 28. In Hungary already more than 800,000 T-Mobile customers use MMS-enabled phones and send a rising number of photos and video files from mobile phones.

From January 1, 2005 T-Mobile customers can send MMS with text, photo, video or voice recording with more favorable conditions and more transparent tariff regime. After the modification of the tariff regime T-Mobile customers will not need to know the size of the message and its content will not matter either since in the future only intra-network and extra-network MMS categories will exist. With the new tariff regime MMS can be sent to the T-Mobile network and to e-mail address for HUF 75, to other networks for HUF 125. The rates which are in almost all cases lower than the earlier ones, will go down by an additional 50% on week-ends and holidays. Besides, as a special offer from January 1 to February 28, 2005 T-Mobile customers can send MMS to the T-Mobile network for HUF 28 on weekdays and week-ends alike.
