Number of fixed lines grew again in June

In June, the number of fixed telephone lines grew by 4 600 over the previous month in Hungary and exceeded 3.594 million, the National Communications Authority announced.

The growth has raised the number of fix telephone lines per 100 inhabitants from 35.52 to 35.57. The average monthly duration of calls initiated per line decreased from 230.4 minutes in the previous months to 228.6 minutes. In June, the telephone penetration of households was 72 per cent.
