Axelero services now also available in Vivendi area
Budapest, May 16, 2003
Axelero Internet and Vivendi Telecom Hungary have made an agreement under which Axelero's DSL-based products are also available in Vivendi's service area from May 15, 2003. This move raises the number of localities where users can subscribe to Axelero's broadband Internet connection one and a half times to 94. The agreement now reached by the two competing service providers is not the first of its kind; under another agreement made a month ago, on April 14, the sale of Axelero's Kombi products, which also contain the telephone usage costs, started in Vivendi's service area.
Under
this latest agreement between Vivendi and Axelero the entire DSL
product family – including ADSL Hobbi, ADSL Otthon, ADSL Profi and BDSL
– is available in Vivendi's service area at the same terms and
conditions as in the other parts of the country. Through this
agreement, Axelero is extending its DSL-based services to the following
towns: Ajka, Balatonalmádi, Dunaharaszti, Dunakeszi, Dunaújváros,
Esztergom, Göd, Gödöllő, Gödöllő-Asbóth, Hódmezővásárhely I and II,
Isaszeg, Jászberény, Kiskunlacháza, Kistarcsa, Makó, Pécel, Ráckeve,
Sárbogárd, Szeged, Szeged-Szőreg, Szeged-Tápé, Szentes, Szigethalom,
Szigetszentmiklós, Tököl, Vác, Várpalota, Veresegyháza, Veszprém and
Zirc.
Thanks to the agreement signed in April, it applies to all members of
the Kombi product family that are also available from telephone lines
in Vivendi's service area, that the Internet service fee and the
telecommunication fee are shown on one and the same telephone bill
issued by the telephone service provider. The Kombi15, Kombi40 and
Kombi100 packages, containing both the Internet access and the
telephone usage charges, provide 15 hours of Internet access for HUF
3000 monthly, or 40 hours of access for HUF 6000 monthly or 100 hours
access for HUF 9000 monthly for residential customers.
The most favorable ADSL Hobbi package is available for HUF 9900 gross
monthly; for this sum the holders of a conventional telephone line can
enjoy up to seven times the speed of a regular modem (384 Kbit/s). ADSL
Otthon offers even higher download speed (512 Kbit/s) for a sum upward
from HUF 11 900 gross monthly. The ADSL Profi subscription targeted at
business users provides bandwidth between 384 and 768 Kbp/s, for sums
between HUF 12 900 and 29 900 depending on the other conditions of the
contract (e.g. loyalty period). BDSL satisfies the biggest demands
(between 394 and 1500 Kbp/s) and, depending on the other terms of the
contract, it is available for monthly subscription fees ranging from
HUF 26 900 to 69 900.
Subscriptions can be ordered from Axelero, either personally in one of
the MatávPont shops, or at the 1234 telephone number or on the Internet
at www.axelero.hu.
