A Pan-European contest, Euro EFFIES was organized for the first time in 1996.
The advertising efficiency contest established by the American Marketing Association (AMA) in 1968 is now organized in 17 countries; Hungary joined the series of contests last year.
The first Hungarian EFFIE was announced in July last year by the Hungarian Section of IAA and the Federation of Communication Agencies in Hungary (MaKSZ). Bálint Nagy was elected to be a member of the jury of this year’s Euro EFFIES by the Federation of Communication Agencies on the basis of the proposal by MaKSZ.
The Chairman of the Jury will be Rolf Kreiner, Chairman of World Federation of Advertisers (WFA).
Agencies can make their applications to the contest of European advertisement campaigns between March 7 and May 30. Participants can enter the contest with advertisements that appeared between January 1, 2001 and December 31, 2002.
