On July 18, 2003 a Peugeot 206 car, the main prize of the joint campaign launched by 6 service providers (Matáv, Westel, Dédász, Kögáz, Ddgáz, Fibernet) was presented to Mr. János Muczi, a Matáv customer by Mr. Christopher Mattheisen, Matáv’s Chief Officer.

In March 2003 a prize winning campaign was organized by Matáv and the other five service providers for customers living in the service area of Dédász Rt. (including the whole territory of Somogy, Baranya and Tolna counties as well as a part of Zala and Fejér counties). A condition of participating in the draw was that the subscriber had to change over from payment by check to group collection order for at least one of the six service providers involved in the period between March 10 and May 16, 2003.

The customers had also to give a correct answer to the following question when the contract was concluded so as to be allowed to participate in the draw: “How many service providers are involved in the campaign?” Apart from the three main prizes – a Peugeot 206 car, a tour to Brazil and Argentina, and a home movie system – 100 desktop clocks were distributed among the lucky entrants.
