Matáv launched its new image campaign on January 17 with the core message: "Really important conversation requires a fixed-line telephone". Bálint Nagy, Communication Director of the Matáv Group said: while mobile phones ensure availability everywhere, the fixed-line telephone is a convenient tool for long confidential conversations.

The interesting feature of this campaign is that it is the first time that mobile telephony is addressed because Matáv's objective is to emphasize the advantages of fixed-line telephony through credible real-life situations and present the various roles played by fixed-line and mobile phones in our life. Bálint Nagy, Communication Director of the Matáv Group said: These two technologies are not mutually exclusive but rather complement each other; while mobile phones ensure availability everywhere, the fixed-line telephone is a convenient tool for long confidential conversations.
